Manzis Build was engaged by Createus Group to deliver this 50sqm home extension in Gisborne. The project added a main bedroom, accessible bathroom, wardrobe, kitchenette and small bedroom to the existing home.

Accessibility and everyday function were central to the design and build. A new ramp and deck improved access into the extension while helping connect the new space back to the outdoor living area. Inside, the layout was designed to feel practical, comfortable, and easy to move through day to day, with the accessible bathroom playing an important role in how the space would be used.

Externally, black iron cladding paired with a timber feature entrance gave the addition its own character while still sitting comfortably alongside the original home.

The construction programme was completed within 12 weeks, with Manzis Build working closely alongside Createus Group and our subcontractors throughout the project to deliver the build as planned. A practical addition designed to support comfortable everyday living.
